Healthy eating can be fabulous & lavishly cheap...

If you want to achieve healthy eating, a lean body, and save money at the same time, the first step is to abandon coupons immediately as a money saving tool.

That may seem counter-intuitive, but it isn't. The best thing you can do, when it comes to grocery shopping, is get rid of coupons and recycle them (or shred them) before you even take a look at them. They are manufacturers lures to entice you to buy specific products... and most often, very unhealthy products.

Many people mail, call, write, and send messages about coupons to lavish cheapskate tips. After all, with a name like "Lavish Cheapskate," everyone thinks we're some sort of coupon wonderland.

We're not. Not only do coupons entice us to buy unhealthy foods, coupons do the exact opposite of saving you money-- they open the wallet to spending more money on products you could most likely do without- and better yet, do better without.

What's more is...

Coupons lead you to spend more money on
many highly processed foods. So it inhibits the ability to a healthy eating lifestyle.

Some people get quite ruffled at the idea that coupons don't save money and can actually lead to unhealthy eating. It's almost like seeing a rabid human when one dares to challenge a coupon clipper to this truth. It can be a very touchy subject to coupon clippers.

It is emotionally charged because coupon clippers have so much time invested in these "spending stimulation tickets."
